O’Keefe & Associates, a financial consulting firm, won the Turnaround of the Year Award and the Industrial Manufacturing/Distribution of the Year Award for the successful turnaround of Graceland Fruit. Meagan Hardcastle, a director in the Bloomfield Hills’ based firm, was also honored with the Turnaround Professional of the Year Award in recognition of her body of work in the industry.
An independent judging committee of industry experts reviewed more than 160 nominations representing more than 250 companies to determine the winners.
The judges cited Hardcastle for executing a “successful turnaround, protecting equity value, keeping ownership intact, and preserving much-needed jobs in the community.”
In October 2011, Hardcastle was recognized for her professional achievements in DBusiness for the magazine’s “30 in their Thirties” awards.
