Oakland Planner Honored for Securing $1M in Grants

WATERFORD — The Clinton River Trail Alliance awarded Oakland County planner Kristen Wiltfang a certificate of recognition for obtaining $1 million in grants.

The funds were used to map, design, and coordinate efforts to develop the 16-mile trail, running through five Oakland County communities.

Wiltfang of Waterford has previously worked for the Planning Division.

In addition, she earned her bachelor’s in forestry from Michigan State University and her master’s in urban and regional planning from Eastern Michigan University.
