PONTIAC — Oakland Integrated Healthcare Network, a non-profit organization that provides affordable, coordinated healthcare services for the community, has opened its third site, offering primary care and mental health services at the Oakland Family Services office on Orchard Lake Road in Pontiac.
OIHN welcomes people who have private insurance, as well as Medicaid, Medicare, and Veterans health care. Service also is available to non-insured individuals and families.
OIHN coordinates all health-related services for patients, including mental health and dental services. This approach ensures patients receive the care they need, in the most appropriate setting, and from a team focused on managing their care over the long term.
“Oakland Family Services has provided mental health and substance abuse services to area residents for many years,” said Michael Earl, CEO, Oakland Family Services. “We are proud to partner with OIHN and offer our clients complete, coordinated health care for all of their health needs.”
The new site welcomes all patients. Patients do not have to be clients of Oakland Family Services, and they do not need to be Oakland County residents.
Starting July 10, a team of family medicine physicians led by Dr. Nikhil Hemady, OIHN Medical Director and a board-certified family practice physician, will see patients on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons.
To make an appointment, call 248-724-7600. Walk-in appointments are also available. The office is located at 114 Orchard Lake Road, Pontiac, between Woodward Avenue and Bagley Street.
