Oakland County Bar Association Names Kaveh Kashef as New President

On June 3rd, 2021, Butzel Long attorney Kaveh Kashef was named President of the Oakland County Bar Association (OCBA). Being on the board of directors for the OCBA since 2012, Kashef has served various positions throughout the community. He is a Barrister of the American Inns of Court and is a past president and trustee of the Oakland Country Bar foundation. Additionally, he was also a member of the state Bar Association Civil Procedure as well as the Courts Standing Committee.

Kashef handles litigation in various industries including, the automotive, shareholder disputes, employment, commercial, construction, riparian rights, and real property law. He also represents multiple private equity groups that are both traditional and non-traditional. He has also been significantly involved in the field of condominium development, writing several contracting-related articles.

Kashef graduated the University of Michigan with an undergraduate degree and then continued to graduate from Tulane University School of Law with honors.
