Commerce Township-based Nuspire, a managed security service provider, has announced appointments for chief product officer, chief technology officer, and chief marketing officer roles. The appointments are expected to help achieve the company’s goal of improving the cybersecurity experience for customers.

John Ayers, who began the role of chief product officer in early 2020, oversees technology and security innovation, operations, and threat intelligence. Ayers was key in developing Health Availability Lifecycle Optimization, Nuspire’s approach to identifying and containing breaches that can normally be completed in about 15 minutes, under the industry standard for detection. Ayer has also managed the development of Nuspire’s Threat Modeling Tool, which whittles a weeks-long detention project into two days.

Ayers previously served as the vice president of product management at Netsurion and chief information security officer at NETSource and HOSTING.COM.

Michael Wilson, the appointment to chief technology officer, leads the technology division, which includes the vision, strategy, architecture, infrastructure, development, and production system operation of Nuspire and its clients. Prior to joining Nuspire, Wilson was chief technology officer of CYDERES.

Michelle Bank assumed the role of executive vice president and chief marketing officer, overseeing marketing and growth. Bank was previously vice president of marketing of marketing at Optiv and was in senior positions at Windstream and Level 3 Communications.

“At Nuspire, our people are our most critical asset,” says Lewie Dunsworth, CEO. “Not only do John, Michael, and Michelle bring a wealth of experience and impressive track records in their respective fields, but their leadership qualities and results orientated approaches are core to our innovative mindset and critical to the acceleration of Nuspire’s mission.”
