ANN ARBOR — Kristine Chandler has joined the nonprofit North Star Reach as director of development.
In her new role, Chandler will be responsible for building public and private partnerships to support the organization’s mission in a variety of ways. She will focus on completion of the camp’s $26.2 million Capital Campaign. North Star Reach provides life-changing camp experiences for children with serious health challenges and their families. The camp is currently under construction in Pinckney.
Chandler brings more than 15 years of experience with philanthropic efforts in the nonprofit industry. Prior to joining North Star Reach, she served in leadership roles for Development Offices at School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Columbia College Chicago, and Concordia University – Ann Arbor.
She earned a a bachelor’s in communications from Michigan State University and a master’s in organizational leadership and administration from Concordia University in Ann Arbor.
