Niterra, a Wixom-based manufacturer of spark plugs and sensors with an evolving portfolio focused on its ceramic technology, has appointed Tao Han to the role of general manager of Niterra Materials. Han will oversee all strategic, operational, and development aspects of the Materials division.
Han’s promotion continues a 14-year career at Niterra, where he has held roles of increasing responsibility.

Han began his career as an engineer on the OEM Team, supporting the Ford account with expertise in product application and sales strategy. He later progressed to lead the OEM Product Development Team, where he worked closely with global headquarters teams in Japan to manage the development and successful launch of all OEM products for key customers. Most recently, he led the Strategic Growth and Partnership team, gaining comprehensive cross-functional experience.
