Honigman, the Detroit-based full-service general business law firm, announced Nick Winters has joined as a partner in its real estate department.

He supports his clients in real estate matters in various industries, with significant experience in leasing, telecommunications, electric vehicles, and the resolution of complex title and survey issues. He focuses on developing long-term relationships with his clients so that he can understand, protect, and advance their priorities.

Winters identifies and pursues the specific risk tolerance and objectives for each client. He  says he strives to avoid “cookie cutter” and “one-size-fits-all” approaches to representing his clients and negotiating agreements on their behalf, understanding that it is important to communicate with and carefully listen to his clients in order to determine what is most important to them.

“We are very excited to welcome Nick to our firm,” says Adam Rothstein, co-chair of Honigman’s real estate department. “He brings outstanding experience to our team and strengthens our ability to provide the highest quality services to our clients.”

Winters joins Honigman from Dykema, where he served as senior counsel in its real estate and commercial leasing practice. He earned his J.D. from Wayne State University in 2006 and his bachelor’s degree from Bob Jones University in 2003.
