SAGINAW — Laurent Bresson, president and global chief operating officer of automotive steering and driveline supplier Nexteer Automotive, has named Matthew Paroly as senior vice president, chief legal officer, and general counsel.
Paroly will be responsible for Nexteer’s global legal matters, and will join the Nexteer Strategy Council, the company’s top strategy and policymaking group. He most recently served as vice president and general counsel at Fisker Automotive Inc.
Prior to joining Fisker, he was senior vice president and chief legal officer at Meridian Automotive. Earlier, he served as the managing commercial attorney of Delphi Corp.
He earned a juris doctor degree from Harvard Law School and a bachelor’s of arts from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.
