NEW YORK — Global public relations and digital communications firm Finn Partners will open an office in downtown Detroit. The move bolsters the agency’s commitment to clients based in Detroit and Michigan and also emphasizes Finn Partners’ belief that the Detroit market is in a renaissance phase and ripe with new business opportunities.

“Our work with existing clients in Detroit such as Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan has given us a first-hand look at the growing potential in the market, and we think the outlook in Michigan is strong,” said Peter Finn, founding partner of the firm. “We’re committed to great partnerships and we’re eager to establish new relationships in and around Detroit. We look to become an integral part of growth and re-development in the market through our business communications activities.”

Finn Partners specializes in a range of communications services, including consumer and technology marketing, digital/social media, global issues and corporate affairs/social responsibility, travel and economic development, education, and arts and cultural communications. Finn Partners has been working as the social media agency for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan since 2011.

“Finn Partners shares our belief in Detroit and I’m excited to see the firm investing in the region,” said Daniel J. Loepp, president and CEO of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan. “It is a positive, reaffirming sign to see a global firm join the local business community’s efforts to grow this world class city.”
