LIVONIA — Tradehome Shoes opened today at Laurel Park Place and two other new stores — Lids and Teavana — are planing to open this summer and fall. In addition, The Limited and Bath & Body Works are undergoing renovations while Gymboree officially opened with an all new store just two weeks ago.

The Limited remodel will be complete at the end of the month and Bath & Body Works has just started and will open this fall. Bath & Body Works is currently operating in a temporary location across from Express near Von Maur.

The 2,858-square-foot Tradehome Shoes is located next to Bath & Body Works at the Center Court. Lids will open in a 980 square foot store next to Finish Line. The retail store offers officially licensed and branded headwear of collegiate teams, major professional sports teams, as well as other specialty fashion categories. Lids also offer custom embroidery capability as an added service.

Teavana is set to open in a newly constructed 1,100 square foot store at center court across from Rogers & Hollands Jewelers. Teavana offers an assortment of teas in a place described as part tea bar and part tea emporium. Customers will enjoy the aromas, textures and beneficial qualities of loose leaf tea while learning the history and variety of teas available.

“We are very pleased to be announcing the addition of three new stores this year,” said Todd Huhn, general manager of Laurel Park Place. “In addition two of our local operators — Art is in Market and The Olive Store — have relocated to new locations in the mall with enhanced store design and additional product. The new stores will be an excellent complement to the retailers already in place while enhancing our customers overall shopping experience.”

CBL & Associates Properties Inc. is owner and manager of Laurel Park Place.
