New Owners for Tubby’s Plan Renovations, Expansion

ROSEVILLE — Robert Paganes, CEO of Tubby’s Sub Shops and Executive Vice President Bill Kiryakoza today announced they have become sole partners of the Michigan-based company, founded in 1968. They acquired the ownership from Terry Paganes, who was one of the brothers of the original founder Richard Paganes. Robert is the last remaining Paganes in the family business.

Robests says the restaurants will continue its commitment to quality products and customer service, offering a variety of grilled submarines and other menu items that are available for dining-in, carryout, delivery, and catered events.

“We look forward to beginning complete renovations of all our 65 locations throughout Michigan, giving each store a fresh look,” Robert said. “We also plan to expand the company and acquire new franchisees and innovative products.” The company has plans to take the sub shops in a new, fast casual direction.
