BINGHAM FARMS — A Michigan-based independent insurance agency called the Wolf-Chandler Agency LLC will open Dec. 1 in Bingham Farms.
The new agency marks a fourth generation Wolf insurance business, bringing together two experienced insurance professionals, both with a long heritage of providing the insurance coverage for home, automobile, motorcycle, business, life & health and will have access to over 30 different insurance carriers.
The two principals of the agency are Matthew R. Wolf and Steven C. Iuppenlatz. Wolf is the grandson of Robert W. Wolf whose roots in the insurance business in Detroit date back in 1884. For the past 15 years Wolf was a partner with the former Bingham Farms-Michigan based Wolf-Hulbert Co.
Iuppenlatz is the president of the Chandler Agency Inc. headquartered in Dearborn. Iuppenlatz has been with Chandler for 21 years, and for the past six years he has served as president. Both Wolf and Iuppenlatz have served on committees with insurance related associations. Wolf with the Michigan Association of Insurance Agents, and Iuppenlatz with an agent advisory panel for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan.
The Wolf-Chandler Agency LLC will be moving into a new headquarters facility, 32100 Telegraph Rd., Suite 175.
