SOUTHFIELD — Jesse Viau has joined Southfield-based Jaffe Raitt Heuer & Weiss P.C. as an associate in the Firm’s Litigation Practice Group.
Prior to joining Jaffe, Viau served as a law clerk for Justice Warren E. Jones of the Idaho Supreme Court and, most recently, Judge Sean F. Cox of the Eastern District of Michigan. He also worked in Washington, D.C. for the U.S. Department of Justice, Labor Law Division. In this role, he analyzed labor law issues and assisted with the legal discovery process.
Viau is a graduate of Northern Michigan University, where he received both his bachelor of science degree and master’s in public administration. He earned his juris doctorate from Michigan State University College of Law. During this time, he served as a Michigan State University Law Review senior editor. He is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians.
