Nathan Liska was appointed executive chef for the Twin Lakes Golf Club in Oakland Township.
His career includes working at restaurants, stadiums, NFL operations, and spirit brands, but he got his start in his grandmother’s kitchen.
“I fondly remember watching my Grandma Del cook for our family during holidays,” says Liska. “Being in the kitchen with ‘Gaga’ sparked my interest in cooking, and I still cherish her handwritten golabki recipe.”
His formative years also included hands-on experience under his uncle Mark Dudek at Dudek Foods, a Polish food manufacturer in Hamtramck. Continuing his culinary pursuits, Liska honed his skills at Dorsey Schools Culinary Academy. He worked at several establishments including Andiamo’s, Tre Monti Ristorante in Troy, and Levy Restaurants. He was also a chef instructor at Holiday Market.
Liska also has experience in labor cost analysis, profit, loss management, and human resources. His leadership style extends to every facet of the dining experience, from kitchen intricacies to final presentation.
