NASCAR Champ to drive 'Blue Deuce' across 'Mighty Mac'

Michigan native and NASCAR Champ Brad Keselowski will drive the famed ‘Blue Deuce’ across the Mackinac Bridge on May 29 to kick off NASCAR Sprint Cup racing in Michigan and host an event at the annual Detroit Regional Chamber’s Mackinac Policy Conference.

Timeline of Events for May 29:

 

  •  6 p.m.: NASCAR Sprint Cup Champion Brad Keselowski, from Rochester Hills, will drive “Blue Deuce,” the No. 2 Miller Lite Ford Fusion NASCAR race car across the Mackinac Bridge.
  •  6:20 p.m.: Free public event begins after the drive at Bridge View Park in St. Ignace. Fans are invited to see the No. 2 Miller Lite Ford Fusion race car.
  •  8 p.m.: Keselowski, Ford Racing and Michigan International Speedway will also host a party at the Detroit Regional Chamber’s Mackinac Policy Conference. The party for invited guests.
  •  Dusk, approx 11 p.m.: The Mackinac Bridge will be illuminated in blue, with all costs paid for with private donations.
