DETROIT — MSX International, a Detroit-based global business process outsourcing company, has added Don Johnson to its advisory board.
As a board member, Johnson, of Birmingham, will provide guidance and draw upon his extensive experience to develop the company’s strategies and further the growth of its key business units, Retail Network Solutions and Human Capital Solutions. RNS partners with automakers to enhance the retail customer lifecycle, while HCS improves talent acquisition and management for large companies around the globe.
Johnson recently retired as U.S. vice president for Chevrolet Sales and Service, where he was responsible for more than 3,000 Chevrolet dealers across the U.S., representing 2 million vehicle sales annually. Previously, Johnson held a variety of executive management roles at General Motors Co., including vice president of U.S. Sales Operations and vice president of Sales, Marketing and Aftersales for GM’s International Operations.
Johnson earned his Bachelor of Applied Science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of British Columbia and received a master’s degree from the Richard Ivey School of Business Administration at the University of Western Ontario after being awarded a GM fellowship.
