DETROIT – Five days after the first residents moved in to the Broderick Tower, Motown Construction Partners leased the last of the 124 residences.
Residents with reserved apartments began moving into the building Friday evening after the development company received the Certificate of Occupancy from the City that morning.
Going into the weekend, only three apartments remained unreserved. Between coordination of resident move-ins to the building, Motown leasing staff met with prospective residents for walkthroughs of the remaining apartments and quickly received signed leases for the last few.
“Ownership is extremely pleased with the positive reaction we have seen to the opening of the Broderick Tower this past Friday. It is truly remarkable and a credit to all involved that we are, as of today, within days of receiving approval for occupancy, 100 percent leased,” says Fred J. Beal, managing partner of Motown Construction Partners, LLC.
Fred J. Beal was recently presented with the “Development/Redevelopment of the Year” award by the Michigan Real Estate Excellence Awards presented by Crains Detroit Business and the Grand Rapids Business Journal for the Broderick Tower development project.
While the building is not completely occupied to date, all move-ins have been scheduled through the end of the month and the building is completely leased.
