REDFORD TOWNSHIP —The Motor City Irish Festival, known for their world class Celtic and Gaelic live entertainment and family fun activities has decided to give Metro Detroiter’s another reason to visit the festival this year – the opportunity to meet Red Wing Alumni and Hockey Hall of Famer’s, Ted Lindsay and Alex Delvecchio.
The two hockey all stars will be a part of the festivities on June 20. Lindsay will sign autographs from 1-3 p.m. and Delvecchio will do the same from 4-6 p.m.
The Motor City Irish Festival, has added a new genre this year, by enlisting Irish punk band, The Mahones. The Mahones, of Toronto, Canada, just celebrated 25 years as a band by touring the world with The Dropkick Murphy’s. The Mahone’s will headline one of the stages on Saturday night.
