More than 1,200 Jobs Available at ESD Job Fair

SOUTHFIELD — Engineering and technical professionals will be able to choose from hundreds of great jobs during the Fall Engineering Society of Detroit (ESD) Engineering and Technology Job Fair to be held 2 to 7 p.m. Sept. 9 at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi.

 Nearly 40 hiring companies including Ford, Link Engineering, Midwest Steel, DTE Energy, DENSO, Consumers Energy, Ghafari, Yazaki North America, and many others plan to be there. Exhibit space is still available for companies seeking to hire for full, part-time or co-op positions and in various fields, including architecture, chemical, civil, computer, design, energy, electrical, biomedical, cyber security, environmental, aerospace, transportation, biofuels, manufacturing, mechanical, programming, technical, and other engineering and technology related fields.

Cost to attend the job fair is free to ESD members; non-ESD members pay $10 if registered before Thursday, Aug. 29 (includes a one-year membership to ESD) or $15 if registered after Aug. 29, (includes a one-year membership to ESD). Offer good for new first time members only.
