
The National Kidney Foundation of Michigan in Ann Arbor (NKFM) named Monique Lee to the newly created position of director of employee experience.
Lee will lead the growing nonprofit in human resources strategy and employee culture.
Her experience includes more than 18 years of human resources experience, including talent acquisition and management, employer branding, total rewards, and employee relations.
She has worked for both corporate and mission-driven multi-site organizations of varying sizes ranging from 18 to more than 4,000 employees. Most recently, Lee was the director of talent for the Center for Employment Opportunities in Detroit.
While there, she oversaw the vision and strategy for talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, human resources operations, and compliance.
Lee earned her MBA degree from Michigan State University in East Lansing and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Wayne State University in Detroit. She is a member of the Society for Human Resources and has a certification through the Human Resources Certification Institute.
A Detroit native, she now resides in Sterling Heights with her husband and their two daughters.
