BIRMINGHAM —- Mills Pharmacy & Apothecary has opened a satellite store in the McNamara terminal at Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport.
The store, which opened last weekend, emulates the interior design and aesthetics of Mills’ Birmingham location, offers conventional and all-natural over-the-counter medications essential to travelers. In addition to pharmaceuticals, Mills stocks high-end apothecary goods, such as Jack Black grooming products, Coola sunscreen, Klorane hair care, Cire Trudon travel candles, Papaya! cosmetic bags, and more.
“Being chosen as one of the few local companies to receive space inside the airport has been such an honor for us,” said Pierre Boutros, co-owner of Mills Pharmacy. “We are delighted to have the opportunity to introduce visitors to our selection of personal care and gift items that we have hand-selected from around the globe.”
While the airport location is already open for business, Mills Pharmacy, and its partners, World Duty Free Group, plan a grand opening ceremony in January.
