SOUTHFIELD — The Michigan Marketplace will be held Nov 21 and 22 in Lansing. The forum is designed to highlight available real estate opportunities in Michigan for interested investors. The event is part of the 27 Urban Land Institute Michigan Forum, focusing on land use and real estate development.

This is the third time the marketplace has participated in the real estate forum, providing a platform for municipalities, developers and other interested parties to reach real estate professionals. The marketplace allows for discussion and promotion of available properties for economic development initiatives and redevelopment agendas.

“Our organization has attended the UM/ULI Real Estate Forum for the past several years, and have very much enjoyed being part of the Michigan Marketplace at the event,” said Justin Horvath, president and CEO of the Shiawassee Economic Development Partnership. “The venue offers our community the chance to highlight available real estate development/redevelopment opportunities to a targeted audience, allowing us to develop relationships that lead to actual projects. We look forward to continuing our participation this year and beyond.”

The cost to attend the event is $750, including registration.
The cost for nonprofits is $200 allowing for one person to attend the forum.
