Michigan Defense Trial Counsel Association Appoints Javon R. David to Board of Directors

Javon R. David, Bloomfield Hills-based law firm Butzel Long attorney, has been appointed to serve on the board of directors at the Michigan Defense Trial Counsel Association (MDTC) after being the acting Co-chair for the organization’s trial practice section.

The MDTC is an organization compiled of top lawyers committed to the representation of people and businesses in civil litigation.

David’s attorney experience and expertise is in the fields of commercial litigation, media and entertainment law, and products liability. Throughout her years in law, she has served various leadership positions in the field including the Business Court and Counsel Committee for the Oakland County Bar Association (OCBA).

David is an admitted practiced lawyer in various locations including the United States District Court, Eastern District of Michigan, and the United States District Court, Western District of Michigan. She also is a certified mediator through the American Bar Association.

David’s education started with her Bachelor of Arts degree with concentrations in History, Political Science, and Psychology after graduating Magna Cum Laude at the University of Michigan-Dearborn. She then earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, graduating with honors.
