Michele Gale Names Vice President of Consumer Experience and Marketing at HAP

Health Alliance Plan, a nonprofit health plan based in Detroit, has named Michele Gale as vice president of consumer experience and marketing.

“Michele has a passion for delivering an exceptional consumer experience,” says Margaret Anderson, chief sales and marketing officer at HAP. “Her commitment to utilizing technology to maximize the overall member experience will benefit HAP as we continue to develop innovative ways to improve health outcomes and enhance the well-being of our members by giving them what they need, when they need it and in a way they want to receive it.”

In this role, she is responsible for leading member growth and retention through the development and execution of 360-degree consumer experience and marketing strategies. joined HAP in 2021 as director of Consumer Experience, bringing 17 years of well-rounded health care experience that includes business growth, patient and consumer experience, project management, physician relations and health care operations.

Prior to joining HAP, Gale served as COO at Honor Community Health in Pontiac.  Before that, she spent 14 years in leadership roles at St. Joseph Mercy Health System in Michigan.

She earned a bachelor’s degree in community development/health sciences from Central Michigan University.
