MGM Grand Detroit Hires Spa Manager

2010

DETROIT — MGM Grand Detroit, one of the city’s premier entertainment destination, announced today the recent hire of Meghan Rundell as spa manager, retail operations, for its IMMERSE spa, a Forbes Four Star winner.

“My goal is to make sure metro Detroit residents and visitors only think of IMMERSE when they’re looking to get away to an oasis of comfort and relaxation,” said Rundell. “We’re so proud at MGM Grand Detroit that IMMERSE has earned national accolades for four straight years, and we’re taking it to the next level. We want to offer services and experiences to our guests found nowhere else.”

Rundell, a Michigan native and 10-year spa operations veteran, previously managed a salon and spa chain in Oakland County. She holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Michigan State University and lives in Lake Orion.

“I’m thrilled to join MGM Grand Detroit, because its home to the region’s only resort-style spa and I’m part of an amazing team,” Rundell continued. “I also feel good about MGM’s role in the area’s revitalization.”
