MGM Grand Detroit Earns Guest Services Award

DETROIT — The Bell Services Department at MGM Grand Detroit has received the Chairman’s Service Excellence Award for the third quarter from MGM Resorts International. The quarterly award program honors high performing departments across the company that exemplify excellence in guest service.

MGM Grand Detroit is the first MGM Resorts property outside Las Vegas to be awarded with this recognition. All MGM Resorts properties submit a nomination for a department that has provided exemplary service throughout the quarter and a panel of executives led by Chairman Jim Murren then select the winning three departments.

Every winning team will receive a trophy to display within their department for the duration of the subsequent quarter, a celebratory event in their honor, and special features and recognitions within employee communications.
