DETROIT — MotorCity Casino Hotel will host the Culinary Guild of Detroit dinner series in Iridescence, the only AAA Four-Diamond restaurant in the city of Detroit. The group of local chefs will team up one Sunday each month to provide guests a one-of-kind dining experience. The chefs will prepare an exclusive prix fixe menu, including a choice of cold plate, hot appetizer, entrée, and dessert.

The CGD was created to build a culinary community in Detroit. This is an opportunity for chefs to prepare a dish of their choice, with few restrictions.  “The series will include a number of incredibly talented chefs from various backgrounds and culinary expertise,” says Iridescence Chef de Cuisine Benjamin Meyer. “Detroit has a lot of passion for food; there is always soul and character in the fare that is prepared here.”

Executive Chef Les Molnar from Green Dot Stables and Johnny Noodle King will kick the series off with the inaugural dinner taking place Sunday, July 13.  “I wanted the opportunity to bring recognition to all Detroit chefs and the burgeoning culinary scene,” said, Chef Les Molnar.  “Plus I haven’t gotten to play with items like veal in a while.”

Price varies based on date. Reservations can be made by calling the Iridescence reservation line at 313-237-6732.

Complimentary valet and convenient self-parking is available.
