Metro Consulting Associates, based in Plymouth, has announced the promotion of Damon L. Garrett as president and the addition of Kimberly C. Hoyle as business development director and Andrea M. Eberle as marketing manager. Both the promotion and the additions are designed to enhance the firm’s expertise and promote growth plans into the next decade.
“After more than 10 years in operation, MCA is ready for more,” says Garrett. “Our aim is to bolster existing strengths in land surveying, transmission, and renewables markets and parlay this expertise into growing our land development, municipal, and newly added construction materials testing services to diversify our offering, which is critical to the continued success of our clients and the business.”
Garrett has more than 20 years of experience in civil engineering, executive leadership, and project management. As a founding member of MCA, he has served as director of engineering starting in 2009 and most recently as vice president and director of operations. As president, he reports to the president of MCA’s parent company, Corby Energy Services, and is responsible for the direction and execution of growth initiatives throughout the United States.
Garrett holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Michigan State University and is a licensed professional engineer in 21 states. He is also a member of the Michigan Society of Professional Engineers and a past member of the Canton Township Planning Commission.
In her new role as business development director, Hoyle will be responsible for leading MCA’s growth strategy for its land development and municipal services. She comes to MCA after nearly 20 years of experience in marketing, sales, and business growth leadership in architecture, engineering, and construction, as well as in the telecommunications industry. Hoyle has most recently led strategic marketing efforts for the Detroit office of NORR, a global design firm in Detroit, and was also director of business development and marketing for Detroit-based architectural firm Hamilton Anderson Associates.
Hoyle earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in marketing and bachelor’s degree in Japanese from Eastern Michigan University. She is also a member of the Urban Land Institute and the Detroit chapter’s programs committee.
Eberle joins MCA as marketing manager with more than 15 years of experience in branding, communications, operational leadership, and product development. Prior to her new role, she was director of new product commercialization with Zomedica, a publicly traded animal health company, where she was responsible for the strategy, planning, and execution of commercial launch for new products and services.
Eberle holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with concentrations in economics and marketing from the University of Michigan-Flint, and an associate of applied science degree in photographic illustration from Lansing Community College. She is also Pragmatic Marketing Certified through the Pragmatic Institute.
