SOUTHFIELD — Medical Weight Loss Clinic, a board certified physician-administered weight loss program, has launched a customized corporate wellness program for southeast Michigan area employers.
“The customized corporate wellness program is designed both to help individuals receive the knowledge, resources and support needed to successfully manage their weight, and also to help Michigan businesses realize the goal of a healthier, more productive workforce,” says David Paull, president. “Additionally, a healthier staff often translates to more manageable insurance costs.”
The company, with more 30 locations in Michigan and Ohio, also announced it has been added as an official Worksite Wellness Provider on the Michigan Healthy Worksite Environment Platform, a no-cost online resource available to all Michigan employers interested in improving the health of their workforce. The platform contains tools and resources to improve worksite infrastructures to support health, physical activity, healthy eating and a tobacco-free lifestyle.
All wellness services available through the corporate program are offered at no cost to employers or business owners, and are customized based on the individual needs of the organization and its employees. As part of the program, all participating employees receive a 20 percent discount on weight-loss services at the clinics, which include medical supervision by board-certified doctors and individualized, one-on-one support.
