McLaren Oakland Foundation Names New Chair

Laura Clark-Brown has been named the new chair for the McLaren Oakland Foundation Board.

Clark-Brown, of Holly, owns Successful Equity Management Inc. in Clarkston and has served as an investment adviser for more than 20 years. She is an active board member with the Clarkston Chamber of Commerce and a member of the Jacqui Milzow Scholarship Fund.

She is a member of the Advisors in Philanthropy Association, the International Association of Advisors in Philanthropy Inc., and the Planned Giving Round Table of Southeast Michigan.

Clark-Brown was voted Excelsior Producer for many years and was a Qualifying Member of the Million Dollar Round Table for two years, voted Financial Planning Office of the Year, and awarded the Leadership Award, along with the Award of Excellence in Financial Planning.

Other new members to the foundation’s board include:

Robert Ferguson, of Bloomfield Hills, a McLaren Oakland physician specializing in gastroenterology and internal medicine; Elfriede (Fritz) Jackson, of Clarkston, owner of Ideas for You, a promotional company based in Clarkston and serving corporations and small businesses in five states; Michael Lawrence, of Bloomfield Hills, a real estate agent for Max Broock Realtors, as well as an architect and president of Arch Link  LLC., an architecture and engineering development company; and Timothy Mash, of Holly, owner of Nature Craft Custom Builders based in Clarkston and specializing in various building projects for 35 years.
