Troy, Michigan – For the second consecutive year, Michigan-based employee group benefits firm McGraw Wentworth has been named by Business Insurance magazine and the Best Companies Group as one of the “Best Places to Work in Insurance” in the nation. An alphabetical list of the fifty-four employers representing various sectors of the insurance industry, including twenty-eight agents/brokers, was released In July. In October, 2010, Business Insurance will publish the rankings and an in-depth report of the program results.
The 2010 Best Places program is open to all publicly or privately-held property/casualty insurers, group life/health insurers, reinsurers, third party administrators, and agents and brokers with 25 or more employees working in the United States and serving the commercial market. Best Companies Group, an independent workplace excellence research firm, conducted the in-depth survey and assessment.
In 2009, McGraw Wentworth, an employee group benefits broker serving the health care, wellness, and compliance needs of mid-size employers, ranked first among the Small Agents/Brokers (fewer than 250 employees) on the national list. Of the 2010 list, McGraw Wentworth is the only Michigan-based firm dedicated solely to employee group benefits.
