McDonald’s Corp. has appointed Marcos Quesada as its new vice president and general manager of the Michigan region.
In his new position, Quesada will work with McDonald’s owners and supplier partners to develop and implement a regional strategic business plan, manage and develop staff talent, and facilitate civic and community affairs.
Quesada, of Novi, began his career in 1984 as a McDonald’s crew person in Miami. Over the years, he has moved from restaurant management to director of field service in the U.S., Puerto Rico, Central America, and Mexico, where he led operations, security, and training. Quesada oversaw operations for McDonald’s Corp. Operations in three states in the northeast as well as in Central America and Mexico. Recently, he also worked as an operations vice president in New York.
Quesada has received numerous McDonald’s awards for outstanding performance including the Circle of Excellence Award, Pioneer for the Implementation of the New Production Platform in Latin America, Best Employer Team, and more.
