DETROIT — The Detroit office of McDonald Hopkins has hired new real estate attorney Patrick A. Karbowski in the firm’s business department.
Karbowski was previously employed with Butzel Long, covering real estate law, including transactions and litigation, acquisitions, development, title insurance, leasing, lending, property taxes, foreclosures, and workouts.
Karbowski is an adjunct professor of real estate law at the Ave Maria School of Law in Naples, Fla where he serves on the real estate advisory board for the Institute of Continuing Legal Education. He also serves as chair of the Pro Bono Committee for the State Bar of Michigan.
Karbowski is an author and lecturer on real estate topics for professional and industry organizations, and is listed in The Best Lawyers in America and Chambers USA for real estate. He earned his law degree from Wayne State University School of Law, Detroit, and a Bachelor of Science degree from Central Michigan University in Mount Pleasant.
