Matthew W. Frank is joining the Troy-based Kemp Klein law firm as a senior attorney.

He will play a role in various practice groups including business and corporate planning; bankruptcy insolvency, creditor’s rights; commercial real estate, mortgage financing; mergers and acquisitions; commercial litigation, appellate, and family business practice planning.

With more than two decades of corporate legal practice, Frank has helped clients through intricate business dealings, including navigating Chapter 11 bankruptcy reorganizations. Frank is experienced in representing a diverse range of clients, from individuals and corporations to creditors, equity holders, and receivers.

Frank’s expertise spans multiple legal domains, encompassing Article 9 secured transactions, bankruptcy law, state and federal commercial litigation, and corporate and real estate transactions.

Aside from his expertise in bankruptcy law, Frank also has experience in corporate and real estate transactions. He has negotiated various business deals involving real estate and business assets, alongside resolving difficult legal disputes.

Frank earned his law degree from Cooley Law School after receiving his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan – Dearborn. He earned recognition in the 2013 edition of Michigan Super Lawyers “Rising Stars,” which highlights the top 5 percent of attorneys in Michigan.
