Matrix Human Services appointed Starr Allen-Pettway as its chief operating officer (COO).
Pettway-Allen was chosen for her experience, expertise, and a track record of success in managing multiple programs, facilities, and processes to create a functional work environment for all staff, according to the agency.
Allen-Pettway earned a master’s degree in social work with a concentration in mental health from Howard University, complemented by a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Bennett College.
