Marsh & McLennan Agency LLC has appointed Julie Truskowski as managing director for its health and benefits practice office in Troy.
This is a promotion for Truskowski, who joined the organization in 2005, when it was operating as McGraw Wentworth, as an account director. As managing director, Truskowski will oversee and coordinate assignments amongst the firm’s account directors, plan analyst and client services teams, as well as continue to provide strategic group benefits planning guidance for key clients including Michigan-based manufacturers, educational institutions, and service firms.
Truskowski, of Clarkston, has worked in health care benefits sector for more than 20 years. Prior to joining Marsh and McLennan, she was Midwest regional sales vice president with Aetna, and then a health and welfare consultant with Towers Perrin and then Watson Wyatt. She is a member of the National Association of Health Underwriters.
Truskowski graduated summa cum laude from Hope College with a Bachelor of Arts in business administration and a master’s in business administration with a specialty in integrative management from Michigan State University.
