NOVI — Marlee’s has teamed up with Complex, a boutique retailer in downtown Birmingham to create a pop-up shop, just in time for the holiday season. The Marlee’s shop inside Complex is open now through March 2015.

Marlee’s at Complex, 168 W. Maple Rd., will showcase a sampling of some of its most popular collections, including celebrity favorite, Karine Sultan, Detroit-made Shinola, as well as brands like Glisten, Michael Kors, Dogeared, Dana Rebecca and Pono.

“The space within a space concept is one both Marlee’s and Complex owner Doug Schwartz have embraced,” says Leora Tapper, co-founder of Marlee’s. “We’ve had great success expanding Marlee’s with boutiques inside our Tapper’s locations at The Somerset Collection and at our West Bloomfield store, and we are eager to bring Birmingham-area shoppers a taste of the stylish and affordable jewelry and accessories Marlee’s has become known for,” she says.

Marlee’s opened its flagship store at Twelve Oaks Mall in 2012 as a new concept in jewelry and accessories, with a focus on creating an innovative shopping experience designed to enhance and celebrate a woman’s style. Founders (and sisters-in-law) Marla Tapper Young and Leora Tapper describe Marlee’s as “a space where sisters, mothers and daughters or best friends will love to come to shop and browse.”
