Waterford-based Pentastar Aviation, a leader in business aviation, has announced the appointment of Mark Schenkel as vice president of finance. He joined the company in 2015 as a controller.
In his new role, Schenkel will be responsible for all strategic and financial initiatives and oversee all financial operations and information technology activity. He is a certified public accountant and a member of the Michigan Association of CPAs.
“Mark’s contributions to Pentastar over the last 6 years and his roots in the world of accounting and finance have brought Pentastar invaluable management perspective,” says Greg Schmidt, president and CEO of Pentastar Aviation. “His leadership will allow us to continue to grow strategically and profitably and ensure the highest levels of accuracy in our financial reporting to internal and external customers.”
