Managing Director of Troy-based Merrill Named Barron’s Hall of Fame Adviser

Marie Vanerian, managing director at Merrill in Troy, has been named by Barron’s as a Hall of Fame adviser. Only 145 financial advisers in America hold the title.

Hall of Fame advisers are recognized for their long-term success and commitment to their clients. Vanerian has more than 40 years of experience.

Vanerian was listed as one of Barron’s Top 100 Women Financial Advisors from 2009-2019, Barron’s Top 1,200 Financial Advisors from 2011-2019, Barron’s Top 30 Institutional Consultants, and Forbes Top Women Wealth Advisors in 2018 and 2019.

She offers consultation and advisory services to clients around the world, specializing in foundations, endowments, religious organizations, pension plans, 401(k) and 403(b) plans, and multi-generation private family offices.

She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in economics from Michigan State University.
