SOUTHFIELD — Management Engineers International Consultants (ME) announced today the opening of an office in Southfield to significantly increase its U.S. base of automotive and manufacturing clients. Henning Rennert, principal with ME International Consultants, will lead efforts in metro Detroit while Volker Staack, Managing Director and co-owner of the company, is heading up U.S. operations and the U.S. automotive practice.
“ME International Consultants have been interested in a location in the heart of the U.S. auto industry for a number of years,” said Mr. Staack. “But to be successful here, we knew the market had to improve and the manufacturing base had to stabilize and grow. With Detroit’s automakers stronger, we believe the timing is right.”
The office is located in the Southfield Town Center building on Northwestern Highway at 10 Mile. Initially, both Mr. Rennert and Mr. Staack will work from this location with several consultants. “We are excited to bring our brand of consulting focus and strategy to our client’s operational activities,” said Mr. Rennert. “We think strategically and implement our concepts pragmatically.
