Macomb County finance director Peter Provenzano has been named the new vice chancellor for Administrative Services at Oakland Community College, effective Sept. 1. 
 

During his nearly four years as finance director for Macomb County, Provenzano oversaw a budget of $640 million for 850,000 residents, 2,500 county employees, and 2,500 retirees.
Provenzano graduated summa cum laude from Wayne State University with a Bachelor of Science specializing in accounting. He has a master of science from Central Michigan University and is a certified public accountant. He serves on the boards of Chippewa Valley Schools Educational Foundation, the Macomb Health Plan, and the Macomb Township Fire Retirement System.
