M1 Concourse in Pontiac has named Jim Gray as COO.
Gray will oversee M1 Concourse’s daily operations, streamline organizational efficiency, manage teams, and lead new initiatives on the grounds including the development of a major new entertainment and indoor racing facility known as X Center.
“M1 Concourse is unlike any other place, not only in Michigan but anywhere in the world,” says Gray. “It’s a rare experience to be at an M1 event, with exposure to all the automotive collections that come through. I am now tasked with the fun challenge of elevating the experience for guests, which will be possible through the many upcoming improvements and additions we are creating and ultimately growing the M1 brand.”
With a background that spans nearly four decades in both higher education and the commercial real estate industries, Gray has driven operational excellence and fostered high-performing teams. His expertise encompasses planning and construction, facility and event management, and real estate economics — skills that will be instrumental in shaping the continued growth and innovation at M1 Concourse.
