Detroit-based Lovio George, a public relations firm, has promoted Megan Ewend to account executive.
Ewend joined the firm as an account coordinator in 2013. Previously, Ewend completed a media relations and event planning internship at The Detroit RiverFront Conservancy. She volunteers through the One Brick Detroit organization, sorting and serving food at shelters and cleaning up neighborhood parks.
Ewend, of Royal Oak, earned a Bachelor of Arts in communication with a public relations specialization from Michigan State University.
