1905

Virginia Tile Co., a national wholesale distributor of ceramic tile and natural stone products with headquarters in Livonia, has purchased Interstate Flooring LLC, which conducts business under the brand name of ISC Surfaces. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

“The contiguous geography and complementary product lines of these two market leaders, Virginia Tile and ISC Surfaces, made for a perfectly natural strategic fit,” says William Stephenson Sr., CEO of Virginia Tile. “Both companies have ingrained customer-centric cultures that will integrate well.”

Interstate Flooring will continue to go to market as ISC Surfaces and all ISC Surfaces customers will continue to be serviced by the ISC Surfaces sales and customer service employees.

“The synergies between ISC Surfaces and Virginia Tile will bring benefits to our customers, employees and supplier base,” says David Kuenzle, president of ISC Surfaces.

Virginia Tile, founded in 1928, is a distributor of ceramic, porcelain, stone and glass tile for residential and commercial contractors, dealers and other trade professionals in Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois and Wisconsin.
