AMI Strategies, an enterprise expense and mobility management company based in Livonia, announced it has hired 12 employees in the second half of 2021 to support its clients needs in a rapidly changing mobility landscape.

“While other organizations might be pulling back on hiring in these tough times, we’re embracing them to strategically position ourselves to confront the new realities that our clients are facing,” says Jane Sydlowski, president and CEO of AMI Strategies.

“Having already invested in the technology and the infrastructure components, our next step was to hire a team that could go out and help our clients meet their specific challenges head on.”

In the mobility space, AMI hired Stephen Collins as director of partner channels and alliances; Cameron Gilchrist for solutions engineering; Shahbaz Chaudhary as channel sales manager, West; Katie Dunn as channel sales manager, East; and Fred Matos and Kyle Rae as mobility help desk specialists.

AMI says new challenges in mobility include the implementation of 5G technologies, how to anticipate and manage the increasing scope of mobile devices, and how to support the security and provisioning issues that accompany remote employees and learners. This new personnel will collaborate with the existing team of mobility experts to refine the AMI approach, serve clients, develop new solutions to meet client needs and pursue partnerships.

For its technology expense management team, four members were brought, including Candy Burris as senior sales executive, Holly Mustion as sales executive, Paula Owens as client service analyst, and David Alm as product support representative.

Finally, it hired two new employees to support its technology and operations division, including Cameron Youngblood as software developer, and Ria Rogers as executive assistant to the CEO.

“We’re glad to welcome these new additions to AMI and leverage their unique perspectives to drive our company forward,” says Sydlowski.
