Violet Gintsis, the senior vice president of commercial banking manager at Level One Bank, has been elected chairman of the Oakland County Business Finance Corp.
Gintsis will lead the organization to help small businesses obtain financing to expand and stimulate economic growth in Michigan.
Gintsis, of Fenton, has served as president of the group for the past two years and sits on the Oakland County Business Roundtable. She has served on the board of trustees as a board member and vice president. She has more than 25 years of commercial lending experience in the metro Detroit area and is a co-founder of Level One Bank.
She earned her Bachelor of Arts in English literature and her MBA in operations management from the University of Michigan (Flint).
