Leon & Lulu to Host Summer Artists’ Market

2237

Leon & Lulu will host its quarterly Artists’ Market this month, to spotlight Michigan arts and crafts, including jewelry, pottery, photography, knits, and paintings. The event will feature more than 30 local artists.

“The creative talent in Michigan just keeps getting better and better,” says Mary Liz Curtin, co-owner of Leon & Lulu. “We are honored to work with so many talented new artists every quarter and to provide them with a much-needed platform to showcase their fine work.”

Along with returning artists such as vintage-jewelry maker Jan Vettraino of Wired Designs, newer artists will also be making a debut.

The event will be held at Leon & Lulu, 96 W. 14 Mile in Clawson, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Aug. 23 and 3 to 8 p.m. Aug. 24. It will benefit the AIDS Walk in Detroit.
