SOUTHFIELD — Deshawn Johnson has been named executive director of the Human Resources Department at Lawrence Technological University in Southfield.
Johnson, of Northville, previously worked in human resources positions at Innovision Technologies Inc. in Novi, Peregrine Inc. in Flint, Modern Engineering Inc. in Warren, and Helm Inc. in Highland Park.
She has a bachelor’s in management and organizational development from Spring Arbor College and a master’s in general administration from Central Michigan University.
