ST. PAUL, MINN. — Land O’Lakes Inc. today donated 40,000 pounds of macaroni & cheese to Gleaners Community Food Bank of Southeastern Michigan
“Thousands of individuals and families in our region continue to face hunger, despite a growing economy,” said Gerry Brisson, president of Gleaners. “I sincerely appreciate Land O’Lakes for helping us provide relief for those children, families and seniors who otherwise would not have enough to eat.
This is the Land O’Lakes First Run Program’s 77th donation since it was established in 2010. The company created the progam with a commitment to donating truckloads of fresh product year round, made specifically for food banks to help alleviate hunger nationwide. As part of the First Run Program, Land O’Lakes has donated more than 2.4 million pounds of product.
